JCruz - Gravity EP

Us & Machines welcomes JCruz with No Escape / Gravity, a powerful two track release out August 7th. Emerging from the St. Louis house scene in 2009, JCruz has built a reputation as a high energy force behind the decks. Known for commanding, forward driving sets, he has shared stages with standout names including John Summit, Deeper Purpose, Bradeazy, Max Low, Sharam, Gene Farris, OMNOM, Chris Lake, Deep Fake, Ghetto Blaster, Donald Glaude, Sander Kleinenberg, Baggi, and Steve Smooth. JCruz’s musical roots trace back to tribal and techno, shaped by early influences such as Chus & Ceballos, Victor Calderone, and Nicole Moudaber. After taking time away, he returned with a sharper focus and a heavier, more refined identity, now centered around modern tech house and inspired by artists like Westend, Mau P, Odd Mob, and Deeper Purpose. Since returning to production, JCruz has made an immediate impact. His releases have landed 10 times in the Top 10 of Beatport’s Tech House and Bass House charts, with 8 reaching the Top 5 and 2 climbing to the #1 spot on the Bass House Top 100. That momentum continues with No Escape / Gravity, a release built for underground rooms, late night energy, and peak time dance floor impact.
